1924 - 1949
F. A. Jackman's weekly publication, the Piute County News, began on May 23, 1924 in Junction, Utah. On July 5, 1937, it was moved to Marysvale, and it ceased with the February 18, 1949. It was absorbed by The Richfield Reaper. Two other newspapers published in Piute County and included in this web site are the Piute Chieftain and the the Marysville Free Lance (Marysvale, Utah).
