Starting at our main webpage, you have three options for viewing newspapers:
Option 1: Search All Newspapers
The first option is searching across the entire newspaper collection.
Simply enter in the keyword(s) you would like to search and either press "Enter" or click on the "Go" button. If you want your keywords to be searched on as a phrase, click the small box next to "Exact Phrase". (See "Exact Phrase Search".)
Your search results will be displayed on a separate search-results page. (See "Search Results Page".)
Option 2: Search/Browse A Single Newspaper
The second option from the main webpage is to select a single newspaper for searching and/or browsing. To do this, click on the "down arrow" at the right side of the "Select Newspaper" box, and a complete list of the individual newspaper titles appears below. Move your mouse down the list or navigate using the scroll bar on the right to highlight the title you're interested in. Once that title is highlighted, click again and you'll go to the page for that specific newspaper. We call this page a "secondary page". (See "Secondary Pages for Individual Newspapers".)
Option 3: Browse By County
The third option from the main webpage is to browse a state map that shows which counties have newspapers included in the collection. Click on the "Browse By County" box on the top navigation bar and you will go to the map page. (See "County Map Page".)
