The Tooele Transcript, published every Friday by Beesley and Gabriel, began with the June 29, 1894 issue, in which the editors promised to be "breezily brilliant, winningly witty, curiously clean, satisfactorily sagacious, and liberally loquacious, non-partisan in politics, independent in expression." On November 2, 1923, the Transcript merged with the Bulletin to form The Transcript-Bulletin. The Transcript-Bulletin until June 14, 1957, when it was again split into The Bulletin and The Transcript.
