Manti Sentinel

1892 - 1893

Also known as The Home Sentinel and later The Sentinel, The Manti Sentinel was Manti's first mechanically printed newspaper. The paper began printing in 1885. The office suffered a fire in 1898 and issues up to that point were burned, however, the wife of Dr. G. W. Martin managed to save and preserve the issues for later years. The paper ran until 1893.

We extend our thanks to the Utah Division of State History for their generous donations of funding and the loan of the original newspapers for scanning.
