Progressive Opinion

1935 - 1950

Originally called the Progressive Independent and later the Public Opinion, the Progressive Opinion ran from 1937-1953. Published in Salt Lake by C. N. Lund, the newspaper prided itself on being a liberal thinking newspaper and the "organ of the National Society for Promoting Peace and Goodwill Through Social and Industrial Justice."

We extend our thanks to the Utah Department of Heritage and Arts for their generous funding and the loan of the original newspapers for scanning.
