The Eureka Weekly Reporter began publishing in 1900. Late in 1903 the paper's name was changed to The Eureka Reporter.
The Utah Digital Newspapers Program would like to extend its most sincere thanks to the Tintic Mining Museum for the loan of their original newspapers for the creation of this collection.
The Eureka Reporter
Eureka in Juab County was the center of a strong mining industry. Gold, lead, silver, copper, zinc, beryllium, limestone, shale, gypsum and iron are all found within the county borders. Events in the Tintic Mining District, including ore shipments, were often reported on page one of The Eureka Reporter.
