Ephraim Enterprise

1891 - 1972

The Ephraim Enterprise first appeared on Wednesday, September 16, 1891. Publishers Murray and Goddard said the Enterprise was taking the place of the County Register, which had ceased to operate earlier that year. They wrote: "We wish to announce to our readers in this, the first issue of the Enterprise, that we have leased the old Register plant for a term of years, and that this paper has no connection whatever with the Register." In September 1892, the Manti Times-Reporter announced that Ward Stevenson was editing the Ephraim Enterprise. By December 1, 1892 the Enterprise was under the management of M. F. Murray again and continued that way until about 1903.
