Date Searching

Our system now has the capability to refine search results by date.

On the Advanced Search page, there is a "Search by date" link. Clicking on it opens up a section to add date-related search criteria. There are 4 different types of searches:

1. "from" searches between two specific dates. When selecting this option, fill in the beginning date in the first box and the ending date in the second box.
2. "after" searches from a specific date to the present day. When selecting this option, fill in only the first date box.
3. "before" searches from a specific date back in time to the earliest date in the database. When selecting this option, fill in only the first date box.
4. "on" searches only for a specific date. When selecting this option, fill in only the first date box.

Note that date searching is used in conjunction with another search. It's used to refine/narrow search results from the other search criteria at the top of the Advanced Search page.
